Bowers Metrology Brinell bench hardness tester  EW-3001utilises load-cell, force feedback technology and closed-loop load application, and can accommodate  test loads from 30kgf - 3000kgf.

The robust EW-3001 eliminates system overshoot by the use of  algorithms that detect contact between the unit’s indentor and the tested object’s surface. Following initial indentor contact, the application and removal of the chosen test force is completed in a fully automatic test mode.

  Working in Brinell scale HB 30, 31.25, 62.5, 100, 125, 187.5, 250, 500, 1000, 1500 and 3000 Kgf, the EW-3001 is also able to supply conversions of Brinell hardness values into Rockwell, Vickers, Leebs and tensile strength scales.
